Research and Development Lead to Development of Hi-Tech GIS Mobile Mapping Unit for Brookstone Emergency Services and Partners AVI & ERT
It's no secret that Brookstone Emergency Services offers the best in equipment and manpower. Brookstone once again proved its prowess and partnered with Amalgamated Video International and Environmental Restoration Technologies to develop a sophisticated GIS mobile mapping unit that will be released for the upcoming fire season. This fine-tuned mobile mapping unit will offer our customers the most technologically savvy equipment in the industry.
The GIS mobile mapping unit incorporates real-time video that can be overlaid into ESRI software using GPS technology. This technology and our other general mobile communications and technologies programs have been extremely well received by FEMA and the USFS in Washington D.C.
Brookstone Emergency Services Move Headquarters to New Facility in Murrieta
March, 2006 - Brookstone recently moved its Emergency Services and Transportation headquarters to a new facility in Murrieta, CA. The new 33,000-square-foot warehouse boasts expansive accommodations. The office space comes equipped with numerous amenities including 30-foot ceilings and ample room for our fabrication, paint, and mechanical needs.
Brookstone Hosts its 11th Annual Company Picnic
The annual Brookstone family picnic took place at Live Oak Park in Fallbrook on May 6, 2006. The bountiful feast was catered by "Top Notch Events" and included an assortment of barbecued food, beverage and kettle corn booth, and snack and dessert bar. Complimenting the delicious food selections, there were an abundant amount of activities and games for all ages including a moon bounce, clown and face painting, Bingo Mania, Survivor Competition, Candy Scramble, Team Ski Races, and Bubble Gum Blow Off contest. Prizes were given to the winners of the popular games.

Tylor Palmer, Emergency Services Team Member
Tylor Palmer joins Brookstone's Emergency Services Division as a team member. Tylor has experience in the construction industry, and he is red carded for both Basic 32 Firefighting and Water Tender Operations.
Gary Cardoza, Pacific Northwest Operations Manager
Gary Cardoza's resume includes over 33 years of wildland fire management experience working for both the US Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management. During the past 15 years, Gary was the state equipment / facilities officer for the CA BLM State Fire and Equipment Facilities Program. His responsibilities entailed administering and monitoring all phases of the designated program. Upon deployment, Gary will serve as Incident Commander for Deployment Team number 3.
Gary Pavusko, Deployment Lead, Incident Command Team
Gary Pavusko is the Deployment Lead on the Incident Command Team number 6. Gary boasts 36 years of management experience in the fire and law enforcement domain. He has been employed by various governmental and emergency agencies. Gary has a BA in Conservation with a minor in Entomology, an AAS in Fire Science Management and an AAS in Fire Science Technology.
Mike Currell, Class A Driver, Transportation Division
Mike Currell joins Brookstone with an impressive background in the construction industry. He also has a "Class A" license and endorsements. He boasts 20 years of experience driving commercial vehicles, and he has transported many types of construction and rental equipment.
PROMOTIONS
Patrick Madigan, Sales Representative
Patrick Madigan has been promoted to sales representative for Brookstone Emergency Services' Transportation division. In his new position, Patrick will be responsible for managing all sales efforts for this division regarding rental equipment transport. Patrick recently participated in the Basic 32 firefighter training and is red carded for firefighting. He brings his experience of operating, servicing and transporting Brookstone's rental equipment and vehicles in New Orleans to his new position as sales representative.
