Brookstone Adds Finishing Touches to the Rebuilding and Repairing of the Equipment Fleet for Upcoming Fire Season
In the emergency services business, you must always be on your feet and repair your fleet, and Brookstone Emergency Services is one step ahead of the pack. In order to repair the Brookstone fleet for the 2006 fire season, our equipment was checked, serviced, painted, cleaned and deployed to our outside offices ahead of schedule. The Brookstone team took several months to rehabilitate each piece of equipment due to the harsh conditions the fleet endured during deployment.
Brookstone Emergency Services Equipment
Brookstone Emergency Services is proud to unveil our newest emergency services and transportation equipment.
Shower Trailer
Brookstone Emergency Services proves that it is a leader in the emergency services industry with the addition of two flagship mobile shower units. These impressive mobile shower trailers feature 16 private shower and dressing room units, and are equipped with all the latest and greatest amenities including AC & heat, fiberglass stalls and shower pans, individual mirrors, fold down bench seating, top-of-the-line shower fixtures, soap and shampoo dispensers, non-skid aluminum rigging and railing, and other features. The units were fabricated using a 53-foot Great Dane trailer. The innovative shower units can house both men and women at the same time since each unit transforms into two separate units. These shower trailers are multi-functional and can be used for emergency incidents such as fires and disasters, special events, and movie sets.
Laundry Trailer
Brookstone recently introduced its new state-of-the-art mobile laundry trailer. This high-tech unit comes equipped with eight washers. The trailer also boasts 10 dryers, and can process 300 lb of laundry per hour. This laundry unit is capable of washing blankets, towels, sleeping bags and clothing to reduce incidents of poison oak, lice, rashes, itching and other medical-related problems. This trailer was manufactured using a 2006 48-foot Great Dane trailer, and features a high-speed extraction process that reduces drying time to a minimum.
2,300 Gallon Gray Water Trucks
Brookstone Emergency Services added two 2,300 gallon gray water trucks to the ablution fleet in April, 2006. These rugged trucks will be used for collecting and disposing of waste ablution, and will supplement our mobile shower, laundry, and wash basin operations. Built on a 2006 Ford F-750 chassis, each unit is equipped with two pumps -- a custom Hale electric self priming suction pump, and Berkley 750 GPM pump -- that allow smooth transportation of gray water.
Brookstone Transportation Services Equipment
T-800 Tractors
Brookstone Transportation Services adds three new 2006 Kenworth T-800 tractors to the mix. These powerful T-800 tractors feature 10-speed transmissions and C13 Cat 435 horsepower engines.
48-foot Trail EZE Trailers
Brookstone also has three 48-foot Trail EZE trailers on hand. Each lowboy comes equipped with a dove tail and a 12,000 lb winch to enable easy loading and unloading. These trailers were on deployment in Louisiana, and played an integral part in returning our large-scale equipment back to Brookstone from the Hurricane Katrina disaster.
