Mr. Angelo has nine years directing division operations in diverse organizations including Emergency Services, Telecommunications and Electrical. He has been with the Emergency Services Division since it's inception in June, 2003, and has directed and participated in every training exercise, deployment and base camp operations. Mr. Angelo has worked directly with FEMA, CDF, BLM, US Forest Service, Office of Emergency Services, US Army and Marine Corps, as well as other governmental and local agencies.
Mr. Angelo directed three incidents rated as Presidential Disaster Declarations: Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Rita and the Fire Siege 2003 in Southern California (Paradise and Cedar Incidents). He manages ongoing training and support to assist with disaster drills for local county and state police, sheriff, health care, fire, search & rescue, and the Red Cross. He has led base camp and equipment operations for 100+ incidents within California and other western states in the area of Federal Fire Suppression, disaster response and training support.
Mr. Angelo is a Red Card Certified Firefighter and has additional training and certification in the areas of Incident Command; Weapons of Mass Destruction; First Aid and CPR; Competent Climbing; Tower Rescue and Confined Space. He is professionally affiliated with the NWCG (National Wild Fire Coordinating Group), NAGC (National Association of Government Contractors), International Association of Wildfire and the Fallen Firefighter Foundation.
